The City of Clearwater is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive metal recycling services. The selected vendor will be responsible for collecting and processing scrap metal from various City locations. The contract is expected to begin in November 2025 and will run for one year, with the option for three one-year renewals. The City is looking for a vendor that can provide a comprehensive recycling program, including the collection and processing of scrap metal, as well as reporting and documentation. The vendor will be evaluated based on their qualifications, experience, and references, as well as their logistics and service plan, environmental compliance and sustainability, and revenue proposal. • The vendor must have experience providing scrap metal recycling services to municipal or government agencies • The vendor must be able to provide roll-off containers or other collection equipment to all required City locations • The vendor must be able to deliver extra containers within three business days at no extra charge • The vendor must have a commitment to environmental protection and safety • The vendor must be able to provide certified weight tickets and payments on time and include all required information • The vendor must be able to submit reports by the 10th of each month and agree to late penalties if reports are not submitted on time
