The Michigan Department of Transportation is seeking a prequalified contractor to perform a single course 1.5-inch cold milling and resurfacing on M-19 from 26 Mile Rd to Pamar Ct and a 2-inch cold milling and resurfacing from 26 Mile Rd to I-94. The project includes milling HMA surface, joint and crack repairs, 1.5-inch HMA resurface, 2-inch HMA resurface, permanent pavement markings, and other defined work. The contractor must provide all labor, materials/supplies, equipment, tools, supervision, and any incidental services or items required to perform the work. Key aspects of the project include: • Cold milling HMA surface to a depth of 1.5 inches and 2 inches • Filling milled areas during the same day of cold milling • Matching existing pavement grades and cross slopes • Providing traffic control and maintaining traffic throughout the project • Complying with prevailing wage requirements and labor laws • Protecting motorists and the public from any materials or equipment stored inside the closure
