The Town of Douglas is seeking bids for the supply of #2 heating fuel to various municipal buildings for Fiscal Year 2026. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible vendor offering the lowest all-inclusive per gallon price, delivered to the specified buildings. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids. • The contract period is for the remainder of Fiscal Year 2026. • The Town will purchase the heating fuel on an as-needed basis throughout the contract period. • Bidders must disclose delivery preferences and comply with all delivery terms in the written purchase description. • The successful bidder will be expected to execute an Agreement in substantially the form set out in Attachment B within ten calendar days of contract award. • Biofuel must not exceed 10% of the total fuel supplied. • The Town has specified various locations for fuel delivery, including the Municipal Center, Douglas Fire Dept., Highway Dept., Senior Center, Old Fire Station, and Water Dept. garage. • Annual usage estimates are provided for each location, ranging from 400 to 9,000 gallons. • Bidders must submit three hard copies of their bid, along with required attachments, by the submission deadline. • The Town will publicly open bids on the date and time specified, and the name of each bidder and the price of each bid will be recorded.
