The Ulster County Purchasing Department is seeking bids for the installation of a Genesis Enclosure Vertical Platform Lift at SUNY Ulster's Dewitt Library. The successful bidder will be responsible for the purchase, delivery, and installation of the lift, as well as any necessary construction work, including providing electrical power to the lift and modifying second-floor railings. The lift must meet the specifications outlined in the bid document, and the bidder must provide detailed specifications, circulars, and data on the commodity to be furnished. • The lift must be a Genesis Enclosure GVL-EN-168 Vertical Platform Lift by Garaventa Lifts, or an approved equal. • The lift must service two same-side access landings on the Main and Second Floors of the Library. • The bidder must provide all necessary construction work, including electrical power and railing modifications. • The bidder must submit detailed specifications, circulars, and data on the commodity to be furnished. • The County reserves the right to reject any bid that does not meet the specifications or is deemed non-responsive.
