Description:
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking a contractor to provide waste oil removal and disposal, as well as automotive wash rack pumping services at four separate locations in the San Diego Unit. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary materials, labor, equipment, and tools to perform the services. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The contractor must possess a valid Motor Carrier Permit, an active Hazardous Waste Transporter Identification Number, and meet other minimum qualifications. • The contractor must have a business license and be registered with the California Secretary of State. • The contractor must have experience with hazardous material removal services. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and meet specific insurance requirements. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules. • The contractor must provide a certificate of insurance and complete a Postconsumer-Content Certification. • The contractor must arrange for recycling services for organic waste and commercial solid waste.
