The City of Providence is seeking a vendor to furnish and deliver ferric sulfate for use in its water treatment process. The contract will be for a period of one year with two optional one-year extensions. The vendor must provide liquid ferric sulfate that meets the current AWWA Standard B406 and is NSF certified. The vendor will be required to provide a complete and certified analysis of all metals/contaminants within the acid, as well as a copy of the NSF certification. The city estimates that upwards of 900,000 gallons of ferric sulfate may be delivered per year.
