The Palm Springs Unified School District is inviting sealed bids for the DSMS Roof Restoration project. The project consists of providing all labor, equipment, and miscellaneous materials to install District-purchased and furnished roofing materials over the properly prepared substrate for the 300, 400, 500 Buildings at Desert Springs Middle School. • The bid must be submitted on the Bid Form prepared by the District in the Contract Documents and must conform and be fully responsive to all documents comprising the Contract Documents. • A mandatory bidders’ conference will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 9:00 am at Desert Springs Middle School. • The successful Bidder and its subcontractors shall pay all workers on the Project not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, State of California. • The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder by action of the governing Board pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Contract Documents. • The Contractor must possess the Contractor’s License as specified in the Notice Inviting Bids, and the Contractor must maintain the license throughout the duration of the contract. • The Contractor and all subcontractors shall comply with the provisions of California Labor Code, including, but not limited to, sections 1777.5, 1777.6, and 1777.7 concerning the employment of apprentices.
