The Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking an innovative Automated Driver License Testing System (ADLTS) solution to provide a web-based, contractor-hosted lease for administering knowledge exams in DPS Driver License Offices (DLO) statewide. The solution must include installation, software licenses, maintenance, and support, as well as the ability to conduct web-based testing at remote locations. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary hardware and software, including tablet licenses, and for ensuring the security and integrity of the testing process. The contract term will be for 5 years, with the option for a 6-month extension. • The ADLTS solution must allow for the administration of knowledge exams in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, and American Sign Language (ASL). • The solution must be capable of providing a video with a recorded sign language translation for each question and answer when ASL is selected. • The contractor must provide a plan for verification of applicant identity when using a web-based testing application. • The contractor must propose a method for issuing individual login credentials to Third-Party Skills Test (TPST) examiners. • The contractor must develop and deliver a report to designated individuals via email weekly, including location, examiner ID, number of exams taken, pass/fail rate, and tests stopped by examiner with justification.
