The City of Laguna Hills is seeking a qualified firm to provide professional consulting services for the Regional Traffic Signal Synchronization Program for Avenida De La Carlota Corridor Project. The project involves preparing plans, specifications, and estimates for the construction of traffic signal improvements and coordination with the Countywide Baseline Study's updated timing plans. The selected firm will be required to perform implementation and integration support on an as-needed basis for the construction contractor. The project consists of two phases: Primary Implementation and On-going Maintenance and Monitoring. The Primary Implementation phase is expected to be completed within one year, and the On-going Maintenance and Monitoring phase is expected to be completed within two years after the Primary Implementation phase. • The project includes the preparation of a Primary Implementation Project Report and a Final Project Report. • The City may contract with a Project Management Consultant to manage this contract and the construction contract for the Avenida De La Carlota Corridor Project. • The project must be coordinated with the Paseo De Valencia – Moulton Parkway Confluence Bypass Corridor Project and with Caltrans and the Lake Forest Drive Corridor project. • The selected firm will be required to provide a written proposal, including a cover letter, company data, resumes and qualifications of personnel, organizational chart, references, project understanding, overview and approach, communication plan, compensation/payment schedule, non-collusion affidavit, and compliance with insurance requirements.
