The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC) is seeking firms to provide Design Professional Services for a new behavioral health hospital at the Georgia Regional Hospital - Atlanta Campus. The project includes the construction of a 427,250 square feet facility with 300 new secure beds, including a 100-secure bed living unit for the Adult Mental Health Program and a 200-secure bed living unit for the Forensic Services Program. The selected firm will be responsible for providing design professional services, including architectural and engineering services. The project delivery method will be construction manager at-risk (CM/GC). • The project is expected to start in June or July 2026 and is anticipated to be completed within 30 months. • The preliminary Stated Cost Limitation (SCL) or construction cost of the Project is estimated at $360,000,000. • The project will incorporate sustainable design and construction concepts, and the selected firm will be required to use the Owner's free Project Management Program, E-Builder, for contract administration processes. • The selection process will be a multi-step process, with a shortlist of finalist firms selected based on their qualifications and experience. • The finalist firms will be invited for interviews with the Selection Committee, and the final selection will be based on the firm's qualifications, experience, and overall impression.
