The City of Winter Haven is seeking professional engineering consulting services for the Winter Haven Regional Airport. The scope of services includes planning, design, and construction administration for airport projects, such as topographic surveys, geotechnical exploration, grading, extension, widening, rehabilitation, and construction of runways, taxiways, and other airfield facilities. The selected consultant will be expected to work with the City and regulatory agencies, and provide services on an as-needed basis. The contract is expected to begin upon approval of contract award by City Commission and remain in effect for a period of five years. • The City is seeking a consultant with experience in airport engineering and planning services. • The consultant will be required to provide a statement of qualifications, including a cover letter, company information, experience and expertise, project approach, and interaction with City and regulatory agency staff. • The City reserves the right to reject any and all responses, waive minor informalities, or award to and/or negotiate with the firm(s) whose submittal(s) best serve the interests of the City. • The consultant will be evaluated based on factors such as intent/capacity to affect the local economy, experience and expertise, approach to meeting the City's needs, ability to work with City and regulatory agencies, and ability to provide services in a timely manner.
