The Macomb County Purchasing Department is seeking a contractor to provide cleaning services for carpet, furniture, tile, and grout in various county government buildings. The contractor will be responsible for supplying all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the services. The contract will be for a minimum of one year, with the option to renew for two one-year extensions. The contractor must have at least five years of experience in the performance of carpet and upholstery cleaning services and must provide a truck-mounted carpet cleaning system. • The contractor will be responsible for moving and replacing furniture to its original location after cleaning. • The contractor must employ personnel who are proficient in performing carpet and upholstery cleaning services using modern equipment and techniques. • The contractor must provide safety data sheets and ensure that all chemical containers are properly labeled. • The contractor must note that only rainwater is permitted to be discharged into storm sewers. • The contractor must provide a 24-hour telephone number for emergency services and respond to emergency requests within one hour. • The county reserves the right to adjust or modify the frequency of cleaning services.
