The US Air Force intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to Cadence Design Systems, Inc. for the acquisition of Pointwise Meshing Software. The contract will be issued under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) using Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The software is required for the US Air Force's computational fluid dynamics (CFD) needs. • The contract is for two units of CFD111SC - Pointwise Meshing Software. • The proposed source, Cadence Design Systems, Inc., is the sole authorized distributor of Pointwise Meshing Software and support for the United States. • Vendors who believe they can meet the requirements should submit a complete technical package, including verification of the Offeror's Representation and Certifications - Commercial Items in accordance with FAR 52.212-3. • Responses must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time, 9 July 2025.
