Description:
The Town of Miami Lakes is seeking a qualified contractor to provide electrical services on an as-needed basis. The scope of work includes installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and components for town facilities, parks, and roadways. The contractor will be required to provide a full range of electrical services, including diagnostic/troubleshooting and testing services, general electrical maintenance and repair, and emergency repair work. The contract term is three years, with two optional one-year extensions. The contractor must have a current valid State of Florida Electrical Contractor license and at least three years of experience providing electrical services similar to those specified in the RFP. • The contractor must be available to perform emergency repairs 24/7. • The contractor must provide written repair estimates for extensive repairs or emergency repairs. • The contractor must document all site visits and keep the project manager apprised of all electrical issues. • The contractor must utilize energy management systems interfaced with town electrical systems. • The contractor must contact Sunshine State One Call at 811 prior to excavating underground lines. • The contractor must obtain any necessary town permits and pay associated fees. • The contractor must not charge travel time for any service, emergency, or routine. • The contractor must promptly pay for all materials, supplies, and labor employed by it.
