Madison County is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to provide turf sod. The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, material, and equipment required to complete the work described. The sod shall be reasonably free of diseases, nematodes, soil-borne insects, weeds, and other visible imperfections. The successful vendor will be required to provide certification verifying the authenticity of the sod with each delivery. The contract term will be for a one-year period, with the option to extend for two additional one-year periods. • The vendor shall possess all licensure and permits as required by federal, state, county, and city governments. • The vendor shall have valid certification(s) and/or training to provide the goods or services listed. • The vendor shall not knowingly employ, hire for employment, or continue to employ an unauthorized alien. • The vendor shall be enrolled in the Federal E-Verify program.
