Description:
Oregon State University’s University Housing and Dining Services (UHDS) seeks a qualified consulting firm to develop a comprehensive campus‑wide dining plan and design concepts for new and renovated food‑service facilities. The consultant will assess existing dining operations, evaluate space utilization, conduct financial and sustainability analyses, create a “food map” of all campus venues (excluding athletics and three private outlets), and produce conceptual designs and space programs that align with OSU’s Phase I housing vision. The effort must be completed within six months of award and will include coordination with the Phase 1 architectural design team and optional review services for schematic documents. • Conduct facility, operations, and meal‑plan assessments across the OSU campus. • Deliver recommendations on locations, sizes, design concepts, staffing, pricing, revenue models, and sustainability practices. • Produce a campus‑wide “food map,” conceptual design graphics, and a detailed space program for each proposed dining venue. • Provide a Food Service Design Standards guide for architects/engineers and optional review of subsequent design documents. • Manage sub‑consultants, submit MWESB reports, and comply with OSU’s insurance, indemnity, and diversity requirements.
