The Township of Plumsted is seeking proposals from qualified professionals to provide various services, including legal, engineering, and financial services. The selected professionals will be responsible for providing expert guidance and advice to the Township on various matters, including labor and employment, tax appeals, and municipal law. The scope of work includes attending meetings, preparing reports, and providing legal counsel and advice. The Township is looking for professionals with experience in municipal law, labor and employment law, and tax appeal law. The selected professionals will be required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. Some of the key services that the professionals will be expected to provide include: • Providing legal counsel and advice to the Township on various matters, including labor and employment, tax appeals, and municipal law • Attending meetings and preparing reports • Providing expert guidance on labor and employment matters, including employee complaints, labor negotiations, and fact-finding interest arbitration • Defending the Township in tax appeal cases • Providing legal services related to municipal law, including preparing ordinances and resolutions • Providing financial advice and services, including preparing financial reports and budgets The professionals will be selected based on their qualifications, experience, and cost.
