The City of Weslaco is soliciting bids for the Pleasantview Drive Re-Paving Project. The project involves repaving Pleasantview Drive between Business 83 and Expressway 83 Frontage Road. The contractor will be responsible for milling asphaltic concrete, preparing the row, laying hot mix asphalt concrete, and providing traffic control devices. The project must be completed within 75 calendar days from the date when the contract time commences. • The contractor must provide all labor, materials, transportation, and services for the maintenance and rehabilitation of the project. • The contractor must obtain all necessary permits and give notice to all authorized inspectors, superintendents, or persons in charge of private and public utilities affected by the work. • The contractor must provide demolition, removal, and disposal of all excess asphalt, curbs, rubble, etc. in a legal manner at the contractor's expense. • The contractor must allow same-day access to all residences and businesses adjacent to the construction site. • The contractor must provide traffic control devices in conformance with the Texas Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
