Description:
The County of Volusia is soliciting bids to furnish rental refrigerators to support the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) at various locations countywide. The awarded vendor will be responsible for all aspects of the delivery process, including transportation to each site, unpacking, placement in designated areas, and installation to ensure the refrigerators are fully operational. The initial term of the agreement will be three years with the option for two subsequent one-year renewals. The County reserves the right to issue multiple awards if it is determined to be in the best interest of the County. Some key points to consider are: * The County anticipates providing the final list of locations/sites by May each year. * The awarded vendor will be responsible for delivering, installing, and maintaining the refrigerators. * The County will remit full payment on all undisputed invoices within forty-five days from receipt of the invoice. * The awarded vendor may petition for price redeterminations based on changes in wages, fuel, or materials costs. * The County has the capability of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and may offer discounts for prompt payment. Some of the key requirements for the bid are: * The vendor must provide a list of three references/relevant projects completed within the last three years. * The vendor must submit a financial statement upon request. * The vendor must comply with the applicable sections of Exhibit B, Federal Contract Provisions. * The vendor must provide proof of insurance and meet the insurance requirements outlined in the solicitation.
