The City of Elberton is seeking competitive bids for asphalt milling, resurfacing, and striping services on ten city streets totaling approximately 2.38 miles. The project includes milling and paving, replacement of stop bars and crosswalks, and installation of new asphalt paving with normal crown section to provide 2% positive drainage. The contract will be awarded to the responsive, responsible bidder submitting the bid that is in the best interest of the City of Elberton. • The project consists of milling and asphalt paving on various streets, including Brookside Drive, Pulliam Street, Edwards Street, Almond Street, Third Street, Elizabeth Street, Wallis Street, Cleveland Street, Pembroke Circle, and North McIntosh Street. • The work includes asphalt milling, removal and disposal, and installation of new 9.5 mm asphalt paving with normal crown section to provide 2% positive drainage. • The contract will be completed in a total construction time of 45 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. • The City of Elberton reserves the right to reduce the project scope of work to limit total expenses to $1,000,000.
