The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide monitoring services at state-operated facilities serving individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The contractor will ensure compliance with standards set forth in the Settlement Agreement between the State of Texas and the U.S. Department of Justice. The scope of work includes comprehensive monitoring activities, onsite monitoring, oversight, development and implementation of training processes, technical assistance, and implementing quality improvement and assurance systems. • The initial term of the contract will be five years. • The contractor shall ensure consistent and fair monitoring of the state centers. • The contractor shall monitor the centers in compliance with HHSC requirements and applicable terms of the Amended Agreement. • The contractor shall provide comprehensive monitoring activities, onsite monitoring, oversight, development and implementation of training processes, technical assistance, and implementing quality improvement and assurance systems.
