The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide on-site and/or web-based instructor-led employee development training. The training should be short courses with no more than two scheduled instructor-led courses per month per subject matter course. The contractor must provide a variety of training formats and deliverables, including classroom, blended learning, online, and webinars. The contractor must also provide materials for courses, including participant guides, handouts, exercises, and books. The contractor will be responsible for outlining existing reports available for each course and providing recommended specific or additional reporting for evaluating the effectiveness of the training. Some key topics that H-GAC is seeking training on include: • Professional Development • Common Business Topics • Technical Topics • Category Focused Topics • Contract Management Basics • Fiscal Literacy The contractor must have experience in providing similar training services and must be able to customize the training content to fit the needs of H-GAC. The contractor must also have a strong understanding of the public sector and be able to provide training that is relevant and effective for H-GAC employees.
