Description:
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking a contractor to design and build the Practical Problem Venue (PPV) Structures at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. The project includes the construction of approximately 40 training facilities and three supporting spaces, totaling around 153,000 square feet of new construction. The contractor will be responsible for providing a design-build solution, including site-specific context and information, and meeting the requirements outlined in the Statement of Work and Division One Specifications. The project will be evaluated based on technical approach, past performance, and price. • The project requires a general contractor to amass the combination of self-performance and subcontractor performance necessary to successfully erect brand-new buildings serving as classrooms, command and control posts, and a variety of training environments. • The contractor must provide a detailed Design Bid Build Management Approach and include site-specific context and information necessary to confirm their full understanding of the project scope, program requirements, budget, risk, and schedule. • The contractor must demonstrate their understanding of the delegated design requirements and their Design Build Management Approach for those buildings. • The contractor must provide a Preliminary Project Baseline Schedule (Gantt Chart) prepared and submitted in native file format using the most current version of Oracle Primavera P6. • The contractor must meet the pre-established qualifications included in the attached Statement of Work for key personnel.
