The County of Los Angeles, Department of Public Health, is issuing a Request for Applications (RFA) to solicit applications from qualified organizations to provide Domestic Violence Shelter-Based Program (DVSBP) services. The services include shelter, hotline, temporary housing, psychological support, referrals, and emergency transportation. The contract term is anticipated to be from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029, with an option to extend for up to two additional years. The County anticipates awarding a total maximum amount of $13,167,000 for all resultant contracts. • The program aims to reduce domestic violence in Los Angeles County. • Applicants must meet minimum mandatory requirements, including being a public entity or a non-profit corporation qualified to do business in California. • The application packet must include a completed Exhibit 6, Applicant’s Affidavit of Adherence to Minimum Mandatory Requirements. • The County reserves the right to amend the RFA, reject any or all applications, and cancel the RFA process at any time.
