The Maryland Environmental Service is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified Contractors to furnish and deliver Lime Slurry by the TON meeting ANSI/AWWA B202-93 specifications for use at water and wastewater treatment facilities. The initial term of the Contract shall be for one (1) year period. The project is located at HAWKINS POINT (STAR) GWTP, 3901 FORT ARMISTEAD ROAD, IN BALTIMORE CITY. • The bid due date is April 22, 2025. • The bid closing time is 1:00 PM. • Bidders must submit their bids electronically through the MES Procurement Portal. • The project requires the contractor to make good faith efforts to comply with the Minority Business Enterprise (“MBE”) Program and contract provisions. • The contractor must maintain records of MBE participation and submit information with monthly cost breakdown for progress payments. • The contractor must comply with the terms of the contract, including the MBE participation goal. • The contractor must provide documentation, including the MBE Utilization and Fair Solicitation Affidavit & MBE Participation Schedule, to support their bid.
