The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking competitive quotes for Black Plastic Snow Fence as per specifications outlined on the Buyer Attachments Tab. The bidding process is subject to the procedures and requirements established in Iowa Administrative Code 761--20. Deliveries shall be F.O.B Destination. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder whose submission is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. • The specifications require High Density Polyethylene Snow Fence with dimensions of 4 ft wide x 100 ft length Rolls. • The mesh opening size should be 1.75 inches x 1.75 inches, and the MD (Machine Directional) Tensile Strength should be 1100 lbs/Ft. • The polymer type should be High Density Polyethylene and UV stabilized, with a circular or oval open structure, and the color should be black or orange. • Rolls need to be individually wrapped or banded, and stacked pallets need to be securely banded or shrink wrapped.
