Issue Date: 12/04/2024 Contract Number: MS1223 Equashield Closed System Transfer Devices Description: SUNY Upstate Medical University intends to purchase Equashield Closed System Transfer Devices and Related Products from a contract awarded by Vizient pursuant to its authority under section 163 (3) (vi), which authorizes the purchases of commodities from a consortium or comparable entity in lieu of using a centralized contract and without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors who sell equivalent Equashield Closed System Transfer Devices and Related Products may, if interested, contact Brennan LaQue at laqueb@upstate.edu to discuss the procurement. Equivalency must be demonstrated by meeting the clinical performance of the Equashield Closed System Transfer Devices and Related Products. If offering a clinical equivalent, the vendor must provide free supporting clinical documentation, and equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial. Vendor must be authorized to see Equashield Closed System Transfer Devices as listed on the Vizient contract or approved equivalent.
