NYSERDA seeks a contractor or a team of contractors with demonstrated experience and expertise to conduct evaluations of the market development and innovation and research programs, interventions, and activities designed to promote energy efficiency, renewable energy, and emissions reduction across New York’s economy and energy system. Through its evaluation activities, the NYSERDA Business Performance Management Market Characterization and Evaluation team provides objective, rigorous and timely information needed to make confident, informed energy decisions. The body of work included is categorized as follows: Category A: Market Development and Deployment (MD&D) EvaluationCategory B: Innovation and Research (I&R) Evaluation Proposers must be knowledgeable in energy efficiency, innovation, and interventions designed to combat climate change and improve the health and resiliency in the State. Proposers must demonstrate experience with evaluating various fuel types (i.e., electricity, natural gas, delivered fuels), technologies, assessing market transformation, market effects, capacity savings and other non-energy impacts.
