Description:
Olmsted County is seeking proposals from interested agencies or collaboration of agencies to develop, coordinate, and facilitate an Olmsted County Children's Local Advisory Council (LAC) for a period of three years. The selected agency will be responsible for arranging input from local system of care providers, identifying unmet mental health needs of children, and providing reports to the county board. The proposal must include a plan for initial development, ongoing coordination, and facilitation of the LAC, as well as a proposed budget. Key requirements include: • Empowering individuals with mental health lived experience and their families • Active, productive, and effective LACs can lead to improvement of the local mental health system and services • Offering advice on the local mental health system on what is and is not working • Counties can utilize LACs to advise them on a range of mental health-related topics
