The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide fire alarm service and upgrade for the New York Harbor Healthcare System. The contractor will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, inspection, and testing of the fire alarm systems at the Brooklyn, Manhattan, and St. Albans locations. The contractor must have experience working with similar equipment and systems, and must have the necessary certifications and training to perform the work. The contract will be for a base period of 12 months, with four 12-month option periods. The contractor will be required to provide a technical capability statement, proof of factory training, certifications, and training certificates. The contractor will also be required to provide a price and cost schedule, and to complete annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) website.
