The Town of Marana is seeking proposals from qualified artists or muralists for the design and installation of a large-scale public mural on a water storage reservoir located along Twin Peaks Road. The completed mural must be delivered no later than June 2026. The goal of this project is to aesthetically enhance the structure, reflect the character and natural beauty of Marana, and better integrate the reservoir into its surroundings. The selected artist/muralist will be responsible for the design and full installation of a mural on a cylindrical water storage reservoir approximately 24 feet high and 88 feet in diameter. • Mural design • All materials (including surface preparation and priming, high-quality UV-resistant paint and clear coat) • Lift rental and safety equipment • All Labor and installation • Ongoing communication and coordination with Town Staff throughout the duration of the project The design should align with the Marana Public Art Design Principles, which include aspects such as design, quality, community relevance, durability, safety, visibility, and feasibility.
