The Southwest Delaware County Municipal Authority (SWDCMA) is seeking bids for the 2025 Sanitary Sewer ROW Clearing and Maintenance project in Aston Township, Pennsylvania. The project involves clearing vegetation, trees, and overgrown bushes/grass along designated SWDCMA property areas, including Valleybrook Chase, West Branch Chester Creek Interceptor, and Crozerville/Rolling Hills Easements. The project also includes maintenance of previously cleared SWDCMA-maintained easements/ROWs. The base bid includes clearing and maintenance of various locations, and there are also add alternate bid items for additional locations. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor to complete the work. The project is expected to be completed within 150 calendar days of receipt of the Owner's Notice to Proceed. Some key points to note are: • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations. • The contractor must take care to minimize rutting and disturbing the root mat in wetland areas. • The contractor must remove all debris from streams, ditches, and wet areas. • The contractor must comply with all applicable Aston Township ordinances, including annual license renewal. • The contractor must pay the Aston Township earned income tax and register with the Central Tax Bureau.
