The City of East Orange is seeking a contractor to provide seasonal hauling and disposal of leaves services for a period of one year, from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026. The contractor will be responsible for removing up to 16,000 cubic yards of leaves from the Public Works site and hauling them to a New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection approved facility for composting, mulching, and/or other means of recycling. The contractor must provide the necessary trucks and drivers and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Key requirements include: • Providing a loader and operator to load the trailers • Removing up to 700 cubic yards of leaves daily from the Public Works site • Complying with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including those related to employment, environmental protection, and business registration • Maintaining the necessary insurance coverage and providing proof of business registration • Submitting to the City of East Orange a complete and accurate list of all subcontractors used and their addresses before final payment is made under the contract
