The Oakland County Health Division is seeking proposals from dental providers to offer general dental services for up to 225 uninsured clients and pediatric dental services for up to 10 school-aged children. The selected provider will be responsible for providing a range of dental services, including exams, cleanings, X-rays, fillings, extractions, and prosthetic repairs. The provider will also be required to accept reimbursement rates listed in the contract and provide timely invoices. The contract will be for a duration of 1-3 years, with an optional two-year extension. • The provider must have a current Michigan license for proposed dental and hygienist staff. • The provider must have experience providing treatment to the target population, including veterans, families, seniors, and children without dental insurance. • The provider must have the capacity to provide all basic dental services, including simple extractions and surgical extractions. • The provider must have a system for ensuring timely and complete billing. • The provider must have a policy for handling emergency situations with clients.
