The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide F-16 horizontal stabilizers. The stabilizers must meet specific requirements, including preservation of bearing surfaces and bushings with MIL-PRF-16173, Grade 2, and sealed bearings with MIL-PRF-23827 grease. The contractor must also wrap all preserved areas with MIL-PRF-121, Grade A, Type I, and secure in place with ASTM D6123 Type I or II masking tape or equivalent. • The contractor must provide two each of NSN: 1560-01-619-8981 WF. • The contractor must follow the requirements of MIL-STD-2073 for packaging materials. • The contractor must comply with international standards for phytosanitary measures, including the use of debarked wood and heat-treated materials.
