Alachua County is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or entities to provide contractual services for the Barr Hammock Preserve, including caretaking, maintenance, security, and other agreed-upon services, in exchange for limited hunting opportunities. The selected hunter will be responsible for performing the services specified in the scope of work, including caretaking and site maintenance requirements. The contract will be effective for a period of five years, from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2030. The hunter must have adequate organization, facilities, equipment, and personnel to ensure prompt and efficient service.
