The Savannah Airport Commission is seeking bids for the procurement of twenty (20) powered wheelchairs for use by the Commission. The wheelchairs must meet or exceed the minimum requirements specified, including battery-powered operation, lithium-ion battery, weight capacity of at least 300 lbs, caregiver mode, and integrated storage. Bidders must provide a copy of the specifications with their bid response and must be a bona fide wholesale stocking distributor, dealer, or manufacturer of the products listed. The Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or technicalities. • The wheelchairs must be brand new, with no prior use or repair, and must include all standard interior and exterior features and appointments as listed by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). • The equipment must comply with all applicable State and Federal safety and emissions regulations. • The bidder must specify the warranty associated with the wheelchairs, as designated on the Pricing Sheet, with a minimum of the manufacturer’s standard warranty required. • The bidder must provide a factory-recommended preventative maintenance schedule, including procedures, time, hours, mileage intervals, pre-placement part numbers, and fluid specifications. • The bidder must specify the estimated delivery timeframe for the wheelchairs on the Pricing Sheet. • The Commission will consider the most responsible and responsive bidder at the lowest cost. • The contract will be awarded to the bidder that is in the best interest of the Savannah Airport Commission.
