The County of Los Angeles, Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) is seeking qualified proposers to provide Security Guard Services at DPSS office locations throughout the County to provide a safe environment for employees and the participants served. The scope of work includes providing Armed Security Guard Services and Armed Protection Security Officer Services equivalent or substantially similar to the services identified in the RFP. The contract term is anticipated to be for a period of three years with two one-year options to extend at the sole discretion of the County. • The proposer must have at least five years of experience providing Armed Security Guard Services and Armed Protection Security Officer Services. • The proposer must have a minimum aggregate total of at least 92 guards at all times for the North Sector and 181 guards for the South Sector. • The proposer must have at least one assigned full-time Contractor Project Manager and one assigned full-time Contractor Contract Manager. • The proposer must attend the Mandatory Virtual Proposers’ Conference and the Mandatory In-person Site Visits. • The proposer must pass the County’s review of the Proposer’s financial capability.
