The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking a high-power broadband RF amplifier for a research project on RF waveform and rapid frequency-comb diagnostics for plasma etching. The amplifier should be able to produce signals from 10 kHz to 220 MHz with a maximum power output of approximately 5 kW. The contractor shall provide a system that meets all technical specifications, including being a linear amplifier that can reproduce an arbitrary waveform faithfully with a larger amplitude. The system shall be installed by the contractor and meet contract specifications no later than 30 days after delivery. • The amplifier will be used in a laboratory alongside electrical metrology equipment. • The contractor shall provide training for up to five users at NIST. • The contractor shall supply the initial installation manual, utility requirements, full system design schematics, and a diagram showing the tool footprint. • The solution provider shall meet cybersecurity and privacy requirements consistent with applicable federal laws and regulations.
