Description:
The City of Westminster is seeking qualified contractors to install prairie dog-resistant fencing at two designated open space locations, Hyland Village and Stratford Lakes. The purpose of this fencing is to prevent prairie dog dispersal and protect adjacent public and private properties from ongoing ecological and property damage. The contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including site assessment, fence design, materials procurement, existing fence removal, new fence installation, and post-installation support. • The project includes the installation of approximately 1,914.4 linear feet of fencing at Hyland Village and 1,247 linear feet at Stratford Lakes. • The contractor must provide a project schedule, including site preparation, fence and gate installation, and final restoration and cleanup. • The contractor must also provide a minimum two-year warranty on installation workmanship and materials. • The City will provide final fence design specifications, including details for fence construction, pedestrian gate installation, and vehicle gate installation.
