The work to be done under the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents, consists of performing, installing, furnishing and supplying all materials, equipment, labor and incidentals necessary or convenient for the construction of Project Number L09140, titled Curtis Hall IT Upgrades and carry out all of the duties and obligations imposed upon the Contractor by the Contract Documents.
The main features of the work shall include, but not be limited to the following:
Remove all existing building telecommunications cabling infrastructure, remove associated pathways and junction boxes to facilitate work. Provide associated hazardous materials remediation support to allow for new pathway installation. Provide new telecommunications rooms and provide infrastructure throughout the building, including new pathways, grounding, cabling, boxes, faceplates, terminations, and testing. Provide associated patching and painting for a complete system installation. Coordinate final commissioning and turnover with Owner.
The State University of New York at Oneonta will receive sealed bids for project number L09140 titled SUNY Oneonta Curtis Hall IT Upgrades until 2:00 p.m. local time on 1/15/2026 the Facilities Planning Annex, 322 West Street, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.
All work on this Contract is to be completed by 7/17/2026.

Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Accordingly, a deposit check of $75.00, made payable to SUNY Oneonta, is required. Deposits less than $50.00 are nonrefundable. Deposits will be waived for certified Minority and Women Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses.

A project walk through will be held on 12/30/25 at 10:00 am at Curtis Hall. Please meet at construction trailer at 322 West Street, Oneonta to obtain a parking pass and to sign in for event.
Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.
It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.
The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
