The New York City Housing Authority is seeking input from vendors on the feasibility of the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) model for new centralized infrastructure systems and distributed energy systems. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather information and ideas from interested vendors. The RFI is not a solicitation, and a response to this RFI will not result in any preference or advantage in any subsequent competitive procurement. • The IaaS model is for new centralized infrastructure systems and distributed energy systems such as window heat pumps and building-based electric domestic hot water systems. • Vendors are encouraged to provide other pertinent information and ideas beyond what is specifically requested in Section B. • A single electronic copy of the response should be submitted via email to sustainability@nycha.nyc.gov by the Response Submission Deadline. • The RFI release date is August 18, 2025, and the response submission deadline is October 8, 2025. • Questions related to the RFI must be submitted via email before 3:00 p.m. on September 15, 2025. • The New York City Housing Authority has set a Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal of 15% and a Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal of 15%.
