Description:
The Popo Agie Conservation District is seeking a professional engineer to design a streambank restoration project for the Country Garden state land section of the Popo Agie River. The project aims to improve fish habitat, stream health, and riparian conditions, and prevent pasture loss. The selected firm will be required to complete a natural channel design stream assessment, develop a design for streambank stabilization, and provide engineering services for the project. The firm must be licensed in the state of Wyoming and have experience in natural channel design, channel evolution theory, sediment sampling, and HEC-RAS modeling. • The project is located approximately 6 miles northeast of Lander, WY. • The project includes four areas of streambank stabilization, totaling approximately 2,100 linear feet. • The firm will be required to collaborate with project partners, including the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. • The firm will be required to provide a technical proposal, including an executive summary, prior experience, resources, and methodology. • The firm will be required to provide a cost proposal, including an engineering cost estimate for the proposed work.
