Description:
The California Film Commission (CFC) is seeking a consultant to perform tasks associated with the tax credit program application review process. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing applicant budgets, identifying non-qualified expenditures, creating credit calculation worksheets, and tracking and reviewing application materials. The ideal candidate will have experience communicating with the Office of Administrative Law staff and knowledge of rules and regulations in submitting a regulations package. Key responsibilities include: • Analyzing applicant budgets for alignment with industry standards • Identifying non-qualified expenditures and removing non-qualified spend • Creating credit calculation worksheets and supporting documents for each application • Tracking and reviewing application materials such as production schedules, financing sources, diversity plans, scripts, and other documents • Participating in all phases of implementing the tax credit program application process • Providing summary reports as deemed appropriate and necessary by the CFC
