The City of Pasadena is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to install and deploy a turnkey public Wi-Fi network across seventeen municipal parks. The selected contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, permitting, inspections, and services necessary to deliver a complete, operational, code-compliant Wi-Fi system. Key responsibilities include procurement and supply of equipment, installation of Wi-Fi access points and backhaul radios, electrical work, configuration and testing, and five years of comprehensive maintenance and support. • Procurement and supply of all equipment per the City’s Bill of Materials and design drawings. • Installation of Wi-Fi access points, backhaul radios, switches, enclosures, and mounting hardware on streetlight poles, utility poles, and park structures. • All electrical work required to power equipment, including trenching, conduit, wiring, connections to existing power sources, panel upgrades, metered service installations, grounding, permitting, and inspections. • Configuration, testing, and commissioning of all network equipment. • Delivery of final as-built drawings and documentation. • In-person training for City staff. • Five years of comprehensive maintenance and support, including OEM warranty coverage, firmware and security updates, 24/7 technical support, and inventory/asset management reporting.
