The California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) is seeking a contractor to provide a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to its employees, spouses/domestic partners, and eligible dependents. The EAP should provide holistic services that encompass the five elements of wellbeing: career, physical, social, financial, and community, as well as mental wellbeing. The contractor will be required to provide access to licensed mental health professionals, short-term counseling services, and other support services. The contract will be for a term of three years, with the option of two one-year extensions. • The contractor must possess a valid Knox-Keene license and be registered with the Secretary of State to do business in California. • The contractor must have at least five years of experience delivering comprehensive EAPs to major clients similar in size and complexity to the State of California. • The contractor must provide a dedicated Account Executive based in California and available to support all state departments. • The contractor must demonstrate expertise and experience in supporting First Responders and their families. • The contractor must provide a comprehensive EAP website and mobile app that is accessible without login. • The contractor must provide training and resources to department EAP Coordinators and employees on how to utilize the online service.
