The City of Springfield is seeking bids from qualified firms for the demolition of the existing roof membrane assembly and the replacement of a new roof membrane assembly at Sumner Ave. Elementary and Pre-School. The new roof scope of work will include new roof drains, new roof equipment curbs, and electrical connection work. The estimated cost of the project is $2,830,000.00. Bids are due by December 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM. • The project requires Prime/General Contractors to be certified by the State Division of Capital Asset Management in the category of General Contractor or Roofing and Flashing. • Filed sub-bidders must be DCAMM certified for the trades listed, including Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical. • Bidders must include a current DCAMM Sub-Bidder Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Sub-Bidder’s Update Statement. • The City of Springfield has a goal of twenty percent (20%) MWBE participation. • Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety Prevailing Wage rates may apply.
