The brake assembly must be preserved in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1E Method 10, wrapped in a double layer of 3/4 inch bubble wrap, and individually packed in its own ASTM D5118 fiberboard box. The packaging specifications apply for orders over $5,000.00 only, unless otherwise specified. The item is sole sourced, and Appleton P/N YMD-7915 is acceptable. • The brake assembly must meet the specified descriptive and spec data requirements. • The supplier must individually package, mark, and barcode the brake assemblies. • The supplier must comply with the packaging specifications for orders over $5,000.00. • The item is sole sourced, and the supplier must be approved by the United States Coast Guard.
