The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking proposals for Disaster Aid Services to support the Kentucky Division of Emergency Management. The selected contractor will provide pretrained personnel to aid in emergency management operations, including SEOC operations, incident management, logistics support, volunteer coordination, and more. The contractor must be able to respond to requests within 48 hours and provide personnel with the required training and expertise. The contract will be for use by all state agencies, and the contractor must comply with all applicable statutes, regulations, and policies. • The contractor will provide emergency operations center support personnel with experience in state/federal SEOC operations. • The contractor will provide personnel for disaster response and recovery efforts, including damage assessments, public assistance, and individual assistance. • The contractor will provide personnel with the required training and expertise, including Incident Command and National Incident Management Training Courses. • The contractor will provide a 24-hour point of contact and maintain a contact throughout the life of the event. • The contractor will provide staffing for up to two 15-member teams for two 12-hour operational periods per day. • The contractor will provide food, lodging, and transportation requirements for its personnel unless explicitly supplied by state or local entities.
