Description:
The Hexagon New River Kinematics Spatial Analyzer Software Renewal is a sole source order to renew annual software support for previously acquired proprietary, commercial off-the-shelf, brand name software. The software is required for Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility, and Norfolk Naval Shipyard. The period of performance is from August 27, 2025, to August 26, 2026. The software support includes product updates, upgrades, new releases, fixes, and patches to maintain the operability and usability of the software products. • The software support is essential to the Government's requirements, and only the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or its authorized resellers can provide the required support. • The software is already integrated into the existing mission partner infrastructure, and no other products can seamlessly integrate with the existing infrastructure without making changes to the baseline. • The Government will continue to search the marketplace for alternative software solutions and will seek open competition if the OEM surrenders their legal ownership, copyright, and/or intellectual property software rights.
